I have to say... the original looks better .. in terms of color and smoothness. I hate scanning originals
This is not my Sailor Earth, it's just a Earth doodle.
Just a random female for watercolor experiment. I was trying to test out my ability to use at least 90% transparent watercolor on watercolor paper with minimal sepia ink. I guess it's not so bad Traditional art is a lot easier for me than digital.. Enjoy!
ok...( i think i might be starting to repeat myself) but : i love the hair. the highlights and mostly the movement make it look realy natural. i like the eyes and lips and the black and gold works great with the blue. great work! again
wow so beautiful! I love all of the subtle details like the hair and jewels. It must've taken forever. I'm glad that you didn't succumb to today's technology because there is so much more respect for those who has a steady hand and patience especially if there is a lot of detail (something that I need to work on with my works).
Thank you! Hm, I don't remember how long I spent on it since I do a little here today.. then a little tomorrow etc. Haha, I understand what you mean. I enjoy digital work, it's a whole different style.. it's cheaper (depends) than buying traditional materials but in my mind.. every artist needs to at least know how to do traditional work. It's sad that kids these days who do digital work bash on those who do traditional work and claim traditional work is useless. It eerrks mm so much! /ramble.
Generations after generations, we get lazier T_T; next thing you know we have a robot that feeds us T_T
WOW! Really WOW! Respect for being able to do such a cool smooth and soft coloured drawing with watercolours!! I'd always failed in that, lol. You absolutely have all my respect, this looks wonderful. *_*
